Basketball Australia has confirmed an extended roster for the Gems ahead of the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup set for Malaysia from 4 – 10 October.
Kristi Harrower will lead this window for the Gems with Renae Garlepp unavailable with WNBL coaching commitments.
Harrower is no stranger to AUS Basketball system as a former player and assistant coach with the Australian Opals. The 4 x Olympian will be able to apply principles of the pathway as preparations firm for the tournament.

A selection camp will be hosted at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from 8 – 11 September. A Final 12 will be selected for Malaysia ahead of the tournament in October.
The tournament tips off for the Gems against the Philippines on Sunday, October 4 at 2:30pm AEST.
